Jellison Leed for Homes Project
This home is the second LEED for Homes Project that ESC is working to certify on Bird Key with the builder, Murray Homes Inc. This house has eight bedrooms with a floor area of 6,820 sq ft and was built on a previously developed lot.
The following are some of the key green features of the project:
- Energy efficient home with a HERS Index of 61.
- Third party tested for building performance.
- Used low VOC products to limit exposure to toxic gases.
- Built on an infill site with existing infrastructure.
- Energy efficient appliances throughout.
- Florida friendly landscaping with an efficient irrigation system.
