Bernstein Leed for Homes Project
This LEED for Homes Project was built by Murray Homes Inc. and is located on exclusive Bird Key in Florida. The house is a four bedroom house with a floor area of 3,843 sq ft and was built on a previously developed lot.
The following are some of the key green features of the project:
- Energy efficient home with a HERS Index of 61.
- Used low VOC products to limit exposure to toxic gases.
- Built on an infill site with existing infrastructure.
- Uses very efficient water fixtures including a waterless urinal.
- Florida friendly landscaping with an efficient irrigation system.
- Energy efficient appliances throughout.
